| Every other Wednesday night Marcia and I go to Sandy's Place in Gainesville, have a good meal, with all our friends, and listen to some great music (Don David Band) with Don, Mike, Pat, and Kenny We meet Steve & Jill there. This is where most of our trips start to come set, Saturday evening we will leave for St. Augustine. I believe Marcia & Jill do have a way of speeding up the trip process. We would not leave until Saturday evening around 6:30. At 6:35 rain, from Gainesville all the way to Starke. |
| We arrived at our motel around 8:20pm. Went out and ate. Then to Mill Top tavern for a few drinks and listened to the Don David Trio band (Don, Mike, and Dino). Time flies when your having fun, 1am came fast. |
| Flagler Beach. With all the fires in the area, it was very smoky. Destination Daytona was our next stop. After dreaming for a hour or more in their store, reality set in, taking the form of a rain drop. We made it from Destination Daytona (Heading north on US1) to that convenience store 2 or 3 friends. There is plenty to do, nice ride there and back, and at night having a room close to town so you can walk, and not worry if you hit your limit miles up the road. Everybody was soaked. The rest of the trip home was great. I still want to make another trip to St. Augustine, with a lot of our or not. Also a quick note, every Wednesday night the band plays at Sandy's, with work Marcia & I only can make it every other week. So until next miles up the road. Everybody was soaked.
